NOWN TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Nown, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nown. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. Do not share your account credentials with others.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Nown to:
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Post content that is illegal, obscene, or defamatory
Impersonate another person
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure
Violate any applicable law or regulation
5. User content
You own the reflections and content you create in Nown. By posting content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to the users you have chosen to share it with, solely for the purpose of operating the app. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for advertising.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
6. Friend connections and privacy
Nown is anonymous by default. You choose who you connect with. You can remove any friend connection at any time. Removal is mutual and permanent — both parties lose access to each other's data immediately.
You may block another user to prevent them from re-adding you. Blocks can be managed in your settings.
7. Reporting and moderation
You can report content or users through the in-app report feature. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. We are not obligated to notify you of the outcome of a report.
8. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
9. Disclaimers
Nown is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be available at all times or free from errors. We are not responsible for content posted by other users.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nown and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your state], United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
